My client who is based near Sunderland has a vacancy for an HR Advisor initially for a period of 6 months to cover a maternity leave
Job Description
The key responsibilities for the role will include: -
•Employee Relations - handling Employee Relation issues for your departments. Key areas will include: disciplinary & grievance handling, performance and medical counselling and day to day advice on employment law and terms and conditions issues.
•Recruitment - leading your departments on recruitment activities from specification, advertising, aptitude and assessment testing, interviewing.
•Project Management - project responsibility and coordination for a number of HR related areas such as Graduate Recruitment, Manpower planning, Flexible work.
Candidate Description
Degree Qualified ideally and CIPD qualified or studying
· Ideally working experience in Employee Relations and/or Recruitment.
· Experience in SHL/ Occupational testing methods would be an advantage
· Proven communication and influencing skills is essential
· A team player with a fully flexibility/ can do approach
· Project management skills to work alongside a highly focused production environment
· Comprehensive PC skills
