My client is a market leading engineering company based in County Durham, they are currently looking for CNC miller - Programmer, Setter, Operator to join there prestigious team.
THE ROLE
* To set machines were necessary on a flexible basis to ensure optimum output throughout the cell
* Ensure the best programmes are utilised and suggest improvements / corrective action
* Be aware of work load and plan tooling requirements for future jobs cutting down downtime
* Use skills to protect against potential damage to all products, in particular to take overall ownership of high value parts
THE PERSON
* Should have years of experience programming, setting and operating a variety of CNC machines - Horizontal, vertical and bed types
* Skilled with ISO Hiedenhain, Fanuc or Haas
* The ability to work with a ranging variety of complex parts and bespoke one offs
* Should be flexible in regards to working hours
* Extensive experience operating a variety of 3, 4 & 5 axis CNC milling machines
THE PACKAGE
* £13.35 p/h but is negotiable dep. On exp.
* Shift allowance
* Days & nights
* 25 days + stats
