Our client is a manufacturer of hand spun components. They are a well established company and are currently looking for Centre lathe turner to join their prestigious team...
THE ROLE
* Main part of role will be turning although will be expected to do some vertical boring and a little milling
* Producing medium to large tooling using mild steel and D2 tool steel
* Providing support to metal spinners
* Working from drawings
* Will also be required to repair using aluminium and stainless steel
THE PERSON
* Must be time served centre lathe turner
* Will ideally have worked on medium to large tooling
* Must have good understanding of geometry
* Willing to work overtime as and when needed
THE PACKAGE
* Up to £10 p/h dep. On exp.
* 39 hours p/w
* Dayshift
* 7.30 - 4.30, Monday - Thursday
* 7.30 - 12.30, Friday
* 28 days holiday inc. stats
* Overtime available
