Our client helps its customers solve their organic wastes disposal problems primarily through recycling or energy recovery routes.
With a £40 million turnover and employing over 300 people, the company is one of Europe\'s largest companies of its kind.
THE ROLE:
*Day to day repair on instrumentation and control systems
*Working in a team to develop a control and instrumentation maintenance programme for sites
*Liasing with others to develop an updated as fitted - Site P & ID and Electrical drawings and register
*Developing a strategy and rolling programme to upgrade the plants instrumentation. In line with operational and existing equipment life cycle requirements
*Supervise installation, commissioning, hand over and acceptance of documentation.
*Develop specifications for new control systems and evaluate scheme tenders
*Produce operation manuals and training for staff on new controls
*Calibration of site instrumentation systems and generate required certification
THE PERSON:
*The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in an electrical and Instrumentation background
*Relevant qualifications gained in Instrumentation would be an advantage
*Must have managerial and sound decision making skills
*Must be proficient in temperature control / chemical area
*Will ideally have experience as an electrician
